In 2025, POM (prior to its merger into PESE) has reached a pivotal milestone in its market expansion strategy by officially joining two large-scale renewable energy projects in Laos: the 600 MW Monsoon Wind Farm and the 60 MW Houay LaNge Hydropower Plant. This signifies more than just growth for POM; it serves as a powerful validation of our professional Operation and Maintenance (O&M) capabilities, proven to meet the highest international standards.
The involvement in these two landmark projects marks a significant milestone in POM’s international expansion strategy. Building on a robust foundation of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) expertise in Vietnam, POM has successfully managed a diverse portfolio including solar, wind, biomass, hydropower, and thermal energy. The technical insights and consulting background gained from domestic successes have allowed POM to refine its technical capabilities and optimize O&M processes, ensuring full readiness for the global stage.
Stepping beyond Vietnam's borders not only showcases POM’s rapid growth but also elevates the profile of Vietnam’s energy sector internationally. Through the Monsoon and Houay LaNge projects, POM is demonstrating its ability to meet rigorous international O&M standards, creating a powerful springboard for further expansion into high-potential markets across Southeast Asia.

On April 22, 2024, in Vientiane, Laos, Houay LaNge Co., Ltd. and POM officially signed the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Service Contract for the 60MW Houay LaNge Hydropower Plant. This agreement marks a critical step in delivering high-quality O&M services to the Laotian energy market.
The project aims to optimize hydropower potential while providing a stable source of green energy for the national grid. Our role in this project serves as clear evidence that POM can meet the stringent operational demands across a wide variety of energy sectors.
